Besides - in addition to; apart from. This is an apt descriptor for this group of songs that just didn't quite fit on the albums they were recorded for. Written and recorded for our last album Real Silence (2020) and our upcoming 3rd LP (Oct 2023), these songs are more than castaways and outtakes in our minds. Four of these songs were among the initial songs written after we completed our first record, The Cost (2017), but by the time we came around to recording them and putting together the Real Silence tracklist they just didn't gel with the rest of the songs, so we decided to hold them back for future use. That time is now. With the addition of another song trimmed from our most recent recording sessions, we figured this was a perfect bridge from the last record to the new one, as well as a great way to finally release these songs, some of which we still regularly play and should be familiar to those that have seen us live, into the world. We hope that you enjoy this album of B-sides and that this helps build anticipation for our forthcoming 3rd full length album, due out on 10/13/23.
